Via a pathway near to the river side Oise (originally the main entrance of the quarry, now only accessible to pedestrians); you only need 10 minutes to walk to the village.

Three bakers baking their own bread, a small supermarket (‘Shopi’), a ‘Bar Tabac’ to buy your daily newspaper and cigarettes, a bank and a post office (both with an ATM), two drugstores and a few local pubs are at your disposal.

Cross the river Oise, near to St Maximim, at only 7 kilometres you will find a ´Centre Commercial´ where you will find all kind of typical French hypermarkets.

Visiting Paris using public transport, two options:

  1. Using the path from the backside of the campsite. The local railway station is within walking distance.
  2. Cheaper for those who do not mind using their car to reach the regional metro station in Fosses/Survilliers. Direct connection to the center of Paris, every 30 minutes till very late in the evening. Free parking. All in travel pass available at the station. For one or more days. Valid for the entire public transport system in Paris and its region (train, tramway, bus and metro). http://ratp.fr/
